Strong Man

Strong Man is a multidisciplinary artist currently living and working in Beijing. With a deep-rooted passion for painting and toys, his creative practice spans across a diverse range of mediums including comics, animation, sculpture, and stage design. His visual language blends pop culture references with bold, often exaggerated forms, reflecting his background in game design and animation. Beyond his regular easel painting practice, he also delves into narrative-driven comics, experimental animated shorts, and theatrical set designs that blur the boundary between the imaginary and the tangible. He has held several solo exhibitions and published multiple art books, showcasing a playful yet highly structured visual style that draws equally from street aesthetics, childhood fantasies, and expressive figuration.
